THE MAFIA BOSS EXPLODED WITH RAGE When He Found His Secretary FREEZING IN THE SNOW During REVEILLON. – PART 13

PART 13:

What are you thinking about? Christian asked, following my gaze to the stars. Destiny, I said. Whether it’s real or if we make it ourselves, does it matter? He pulled me closer. However we got here, we’re here together building something real. That’s all I care about. Me, too, I said, and meant it with everything in me.

We walked back to Christian’s penthouse, to the home we now shared, and I thought about that scared, frozen girl who’d collapsed in the snow 3 months ago. She’d been invisible, lonely, convinced she didn’t matter. But Christian had seen her, had saved her, had shown her that she mattered more than she’d ever imagined possible.

And in return, she’d saved him right back. That night, lying in Christian’s arms, the ring on my finger catching the moonlight, I finally understood what all the poets and songwriters had been trying to say. Love wasn’t just about the easy moments, the romantic gestures, the fairy tale endings.

Real love was about choosing someone every single day, even when it was hard, especially when it was hard. It was about seeing someone’s darkness and loving them anyway. It was about compromise and sacrifice and working together towards something better. It was about a mafia boss finding his secretary freezing in the snow and realizing she was the one thing he couldn’t live without.

About a woman looking past the violence and danger to see the man underneath. the one trying so hard to be worthy of her love. “I love you,” Christian whispered into the darkness, his arms tightening around me. “More than power, more than money, more than anything I’ve ever wanted in my life. You’re my everything, Olivia.

I love you, too,” I whispered back more than I thought it was possible to love someone. And as I drifted off to sleep in the arms of the most dangerous man in New York, I smiled because I knew with absolute certainty that this was exactly where I was meant to be. This was my happy ending.

Not perfect, not simple, not what I’d imagined when I was a little girl dreaming of Prince Charming, but it was mine. We were real, flawed, complicated, and absolutely worth fighting for. And that was the best ending I could have asked for. Outside, the city continued its endless motion. But in Christian Lombardo’s bed, holding the man I loved, wearing his grandmother’s ring and his promises for the future, I was finally completely wonderfully home.

So, what do you think? Could you forgive someone with a dark past if they were genuinely trying to change for you? Would you have taken the risk Olivia took, choosing love over safety, staying with someone whose world was built on danger? Christian went from leaving Olivia behind at a party to proposing with his grandmother’s ring.

He promised to build a legitimate empire, to become someone worthy of her. But was 3 months enough time to prove real change? Or did Olivia say yes too soon? And what about that New Year’s Eve night? If Christian hadn’t checked the security cameras, if he’d waited even five more minutes, Olivia could have frozen to death in that snow.

Sometimes the line between tragedy and happily ever after is razor thin. Here’s what I want to know. Do you think Christian will truly be able to leave his criminal empire behind? Can someone really change that drastically, or will old habits pull him back? And was Olivia naive to believe in him or brave for seeing the man he could become instead of just the man he was? Tell me in the comments what you would have done in Olivia’s position.
